another n3 for today!!! hehe, actually i am extremely happy since my efforts for 5 days really paid off... and obviously i can't do it all myself without the supports and prayers from everyone of you... million2 thanks guys...


as i stepped in the hostel, i already had some menu in my head....

1/ Linguine with Pineapple spaghetti Sauce

this is my own recipe, which is basically the normal plain tomato spaghetti sauce but with some pineapple chunks sunk in it... hehe... no need the concrete amount, all u need is just tomato paste, Italian herbs "basil, Oregano and Parsley" for the aroma as well as to give the Italian taste, ground blackpepper, salt, a lil bit sugar, pineapple chunks, chopped onion and crushed garlic.... plus the water from the spaghetti that contain starch to thicken the sauce...


2/ Crispy Fried Chicken Wings

i cut the chicken wings at the joint, and marinate with salt, pepper, garlic seasoning, and Curry powder (MAGGIE).... then coat with flour thinly, then later dip in the beaten eggs (i added a teaspoon of mayonnaise and a pinch of cream of tartar to the egg).... coat once more with flour ( flour + pepper + Curry MAGGIE + garlic)and it's ready to be fried!!!

for the sauce, i mix together honey, mayonnaise and tomato sauce.... taste pretty well but i honestly prefer Honey Mustard sauce, only that i don't have mustard in my stock now....

Princess Redbloodsnow tagged me!!!! this time it needs me to wear hijab like arabic girl... and just like kiki, i was planning to wear a complete suit of jubah with tudung belit hitam just like them, unfortunately i don't have one... was tempting to borrow from Ceqsue but felt like i might get too serious then... still i borrowed this black scarf from CeqSue to make it more real... and of course i put on extra make-up ( if u guys see how do i look with such make-up in real, u might scream just like a ghost is standing in front of u!!! )

sis natrah just asked me what's the name of the cacing that cause Elephantiasis??? hehe, u'r just like my examiner la sis...

ok, to be frank, i was extremely shocked because this is actually one of the question i got just now...

i picked a billet/question ticket... and there are 2 questions on it...
the first one is rather simple and very short, while the 2nd one really need my attention...

so guys, would u like to know about Wuchereriosis??? or in a more spesific familiar name is Elephantiasis??? i am not gonna tell u all the way from A to Z, but just wanna share this info, as it might be interesting.... maybe??? This disease is caused by Wuchereria bancrofti, as well as Brugia malayi, transmitted by mosquitoes and very common to affect the people of African region and Tropical areas... it is mainly characterized by the gross enlargement of limb, especially leg. However, Elephantiasis may also affect the male and female genital organs. There may be enlargement of the scrotum, and the penis may be retracted under skin. The external parts of the female genital organs (vulva) may also be affected by elephantiasis. Women breast also may be enlarged, sometimes it can hanging down reaching knee level...

for the second question, it might take my time to write here but seriously u guys must at least heard bout demam denggi berdarah kan??? basically it is exactly the same with sudden onset fever, muscle and joint pain, severe headache and rashes, together with other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, etc ... while Yellow Fever may clinically present at first like dengue but later with kidney and liver involvement, therefore can lead to serious complication like shock, internal and external bleeding, kidney and liver failure..

for the time being, i am currently busy preparing for my tropical medicine paper... i must say this is not gonna be an easy one for me, since i am very bad with their names... Wuchereria bancrofti, Brugia malayi, Marburg-virus, Fasciola hepatica and a lot more... some of them clinically presents almost the same, yet we have to identify them using various methods and techniques.... come on shieda!!!

Hawaiian Chicken Pizza

tired of spaghetti, and all those types of pasta, i forced myself to make my own pizza yesterday...



i googled for the best pizza crust recipe and found this site... they claims to make the world's best pizza and it did influenced me...
the result is absolutely beautiful... the crust is lovely, and delicious itself...

by the way, i did make some changes to the original recipe...
and this is my version...

Pizza Crust

3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup warm water (between 95° and 115° F.- this is very warm but pleasant
1 1/2 Tblsp. yeast
1 1/2 Tblsp. honey
1 Tblsp. sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt

Pour warm water into a bowl. Add the honey and salt. Stir well. Add the yeast and mix. Let this mixture sit for about 5 minutes. Add 1 cup of flour and the olive oil and mix until well blended. Add the rest of the flour and mix well. The dough should turn into a ball. (If the dough does not ball up because it's too dry, add water one tablespoon at a time until it does. If your mixture is more like a batter, add flour one tablespoon at a time. Adding water or flour as needed to get the right consistency will assure you always get a perfect dough. Just remember to do it in small amounts.) Once the dough is balled up, place the ball on a floured board and knead for about a minute. This builds the gluten which helps the dough to rise and become fluffy when cooked. Place the dough in a covered bowl and store in a warm, dry area to rise.

After about 45 minutes the dough should have about doubled in size. Show it who's boss and punch it down. That's right, give it a good smack so it deflates. Let it rise for another hour to an hour and a half. The dough is now ready to be rolled out. You can punch the dough down one more time if you want and wait another hour or two before rolling out. The choice is yours.

i rolled mine very thinly... about 5-6 mm thick... and i got a very nice perfect thin crust...







owh ya, for the chicken.... i cut chicken breast into thin small bites, added in olive oil, lil amount of garlic and salt, and cooked in the microwave at the highest for 1 minutes... the pineapple chunks need to be drained first...

once u placed ur dough in a baking pan, bake alone for 5-10 minutes at 170 degrees...
then, brush lil amount of olive oil and spread generous amount of tomato sauce on the prebake crust... drizzle with dried basil and oregano ( not too much)... scatter the chicken, pineapples and sliced onions, finish with the shreded mozarella cheese... bake for another 7-10 minutes at 170 and it is now ready!!

this tag comes from kak EJ yang vogue and tantekkk... i dunno what to write, n malas nak dok survey kat org... so nilah die 8 things bout me yang paling basic sekali...


1/ cooking is my obsesssion... kalaulah dibagi peluang sekarang ni, mahu aje shieda bukak bisnes makanan, n own a restaurant... i love to try new recipes n love to modify to make my own one.... dan shieda puas hati bile dapat hidangkan makanan pada orang...

2/ sangat suke melawa.... yelah, tak namanya pompuan kot kalau tak suke melawa... bezanya shieda ni nak melawa dari ujung kepala sampai ujung kaki mesti nak matching... payah mmg payah... tapi dah terbiasa... biasanya sekali nak kuar, mau berejam dok pilih baju...

3/ suka sesuatu yang baru... tak kira lah apa die, sape punye.... hatta Ceqsue pon dah sgt2 paham kot.... baju baru die beli, tapi shieda bersungguh nak gayakan un tuk die... n macam2 lagi la...

4/ pemalas mandi pagi.... kalau kat umah kg, bangun pagi kol 6.30 lagi, masak2 bekfes, pastu buat keje umah sume sampai tghhari, siap2 masak lunch barulah mandi... huhu...

5/perut kecil, tapi nafsu makan sangat besar..... silap besar kalau org kata shieda makan sikit sbb shieda ni melantak 24 jam..... cumenya badan shieda mmg boleh besar tang ni aje... takleh nak wat ape daaa

tgk kat sebelah shieda tu, satu tupperware mee tau....

6/ gilakan aktiviti mencabar and lasak, dan takleh terima kekalahan.... mmg la kat luar shieda ni nampak cam pompuan2 ayu aje, tapi hakikatnye shieda ni macam jantan ganasnye... hehe...

7/ takleh ade duit kat tangan mesti menggatai aje nak shopping... lebih2 lagi kalau Han dah bagi permission awal2... tapi selalunya han taknah nak halang pon... jadiknye makinla kuat bershopping... cume yang bagusnye, shieda sangat berkira dgn harga barang, taknak beli barang yang harga mahal2, ape yang penting mesti lawa, that's all...

8/ cembeng.... tak boleh kene marah sikit mesti mudah aje nak menangis.... sebabnya shieda mudah nak maafkan orang, and shieda tak suke ambik pusing bende2 yang dah lepas.... life must goes on...

malam yang sepi... pi..pi..

tonight i am seriously busy and occupied with lot of things.. i am gonna sit for one exam on Tropical Medicine (pasal cacing kerawit, cacing pita, demam denggi, malaria, taun, demam kepialu, dan yang sewaktu dengannya) next wednesday... and due to that, the department is giving us 2 days off to prepare on monday and tuesday.... yet, this Friday which is 18th of April is the birthday of Hitler and it's most likely for all the foreigners not to go out during that day.... actually we can't really bother this day since our classes at the hospital and we'r dealing with doctors and patients, but happen to be the hospital i need to go for this tropical posting situated very far from the center, and this can be dangerous so we need an excuse to skip class on that day... and that means, i'm gonna have 5 days just to prepare for my paper....

PICNIC!!!

It is not summer yet, but it would be nice to spend some times out there.... Han came out with the idea to go picnic near the lake at the park in front of our hostel... i decided to get more people to join us so i invited Ceqsue, Lisa and Nana while Elyn invited her roomie Niza.... unfortunately none of them bring along their BF, so Han is the only guy but it's perfectly occay for him cuz i was there with him plus our beloved Baby Love STITCH also came, what else he would ask for rite... Bonus mark for him cuz he doesn't mind at all spending time to accompany me and other girls just to get girl stuffs... thanx a lot for being there with me all the time dear...

occay, back to the picnic, i cooked Prawn Fritters @ Cucur Udang and prepared my own sauce, Elyn made some tuna sandwiches and brought along special baked beans, a recipe from her mother, while Ceqsue fried spaghetti for us..... meanwhile, Lisa bought Lemon Nestea, and Sprite for the drinks... we enjoyed eating and stuffing our stomach, until Niza couldn't get up and the others felt very lazy to walk back home...

definitely we'r going to have more picnics later, when the sun shines and when the trees already green with the leaves, we are going to row the boats and chase the ducks.... owh ya, actually we were so lucky that day because it was cloudy but it was raining only in the night.... and now is not really a good season, it's raining everyday and it's all wet... i have to put on again my jackets and my winter boots cuz i don't want to suffer in wet and cold...

It means a very deep feeling that no one can ever change or destroy it... it is when we are ready to share everything and all our secret to that only person, when we are willing to get thru happy and bad times together, and when we are ready to settle into a more serious relationship/marriage.... (but most important is when we stop checking on other other hot guys and chicks out there.... others seem not appealing to me at all cuz i see him all the time in my eyes)

I feel safe and calm eventhough i'm not with him at the moment, and i am happy just to talk bout him to my mom 24/7.... hikhik...

Owh... this is hard... occay, quite few times actually but i knew from the beginning of all these that they are just not rite for me... i gave love to these people because i didn't want them to be rejected... so i've never truly fallen in love until I met Hannan for the first time... it was love at the very first sight ok (LOL, malu gwe mengaku kat cni)...

4. Have you ever fallen out of true love because you were mad at the moment?
Never and will not!


5. Do you feel love and physical attraction are the same thing?
Not at all. Love comes from the heart, it sees deeply thru sumone soul so that love never lies, but physical attraction is just the way people see u from outside, and eyes can be wrong most of the times... doesn't mean u like sumthing, u will love it rite???

6. If your true love became ill or disfigured would you continue to love them the same way?
I will, with all my heart because love is a promise, love is a souvenir, once given never forgotten, and i never let it disappear. Somemore, i strongly believe love cures people, both the ones who give it and the ones who receive it.

7. Should anyone else be able to tell you who to love or not love?
I am a grown up girl, and i truly believe i can think and decide what best for me... but still sometimes i seek advice from the elders and experienced to help me with such love matters... after all love is all about feeling, and i am fully aware that i'm the one responsible to control myself in this thing...

8. Do you believe people that ended up divorced were ever truly in love?
It's hard to tell, but doesn't mean people divorce because they don't love each other, maybe sumthing came up and they just cudn't find way to get thru it... plus Love is blind, but marriage restores its sight...

Yup...

10. If you truly love someone do you feel it should be unconditional?
