Hawaiian Chicken Pizza

tired of spaghetti, and all those types of pasta, i forced myself to make my own pizza yesterday...



i googled for the best pizza crust recipe and found this site... they claims to make the world's best pizza and it did influenced me...
the result is absolutely beautiful... the crust is lovely, and delicious itself...

by the way, i did make some changes to the original recipe...
and this is my version...

Pizza Crust

3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup warm water (between 95° and 115° F.- this is very warm but pleasant
1 1/2 Tblsp. yeast
1 1/2 Tblsp. honey
1 Tblsp. sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt

Pour warm water into a bowl. Add the honey and salt. Stir well. Add the yeast and mix. Let this mixture sit for about 5 minutes. Add 1 cup of flour and the olive oil and mix until well blended. Add the rest of the flour and mix well. The dough should turn into a ball. (If the dough does not ball up because it's too dry, add water one tablespoon at a time until it does. If your mixture is more like a batter, add flour one tablespoon at a time. Adding water or flour as needed to get the right consistency will assure you always get a perfect dough. Just remember to do it in small amounts.) Once the dough is balled up, place the ball on a floured board and knead for about a minute. This builds the gluten which helps the dough to rise and become fluffy when cooked. Place the dough in a covered bowl and store in a warm, dry area to rise.

After about 45 minutes the dough should have about doubled in size. Show it who's boss and punch it down. That's right, give it a good smack so it deflates. Let it rise for another hour to an hour and a half. The dough is now ready to be rolled out. You can punch the dough down one more time if you want and wait another hour or two before rolling out. The choice is yours.

i rolled mine very thinly... about 5-6 mm thick... and i got a very nice perfect thin crust...







owh ya, for the chicken.... i cut chicken breast into thin small bites, added in olive oil, lil amount of garlic and salt, and cooked in the microwave at the highest for 1 minutes... the pineapple chunks need to be drained first...

once u placed ur dough in a baking pan, bake alone for 5-10 minutes at 170 degrees...
then, brush lil amount of olive oil and spread generous amount of tomato sauce on the prebake crust... drizzle with dried basil and oregano ( not too much)... scatter the chicken, pineapples and sliced onions, finish with the shreded mozarella cheese... bake for another 7-10 minutes at 170 and it is now ready!!

wahhhhh yanggggg!! nampak lagi menyelerakan dari pizza hut tu tauuu.... uihhhhhh.... teringin lakkk nak rasa... :D

mummysyafie---<@ ehe, ala macam buat donat je kak, akak uli doh die tu macam biase, kalau nak gune donat punye doh pon ok aje... pastu taburla sos, ayam, nanas, bawang, cheese and ape2 je akak suke, n masuk dalam oven.... dalam 20 minit masak la selalunye...
cume shieda suke bakar dulu doh tu spy masak betol...

aleeya---<@ hehe, takpelah yaya, selagi pizza hut tu masih bertapak kat mesia, insyaAllah tak kempunan cucu cicit yaya nnt.... tapi

wah3...pizza lak...sedap tuh..ms i kat sarawak baru nih, i pegi mkn pizza jer...2 ari berturut2 lak tuh..lapa punya pasal sbbnya nk carik restoren melayu x jumpe lak..maklum la pegi sorang2 kan..susah nk bergerak...

shieda, agak2 taste pizza u tu same tak ngn pizza hut?? :p kalo u bukak kedai pizza nih, sure pizza hut x leh carik makan lagik...sbbnya tuan punya restoren pizza cun sangat!!!...hehehehehehehe.....

hani---<@ alahai, ciannye makan pizza je ek... sibbaik jupe gak zie n kiki kan, dapat jugak merasa the pure laksa sarawak tu... i nak bangga diri sikit bole tak, hannan kata memang rasa my pizza tu sebijik sama cam pizza hut... but my crust a lot better sbb kitowang suke crispy2 sikit.. hehe... matilah kalau toke pizza hut tau ni kan...
